Commissioned Pet Portraits and Animal Portraits

Then, complete and submit the Order Form Form below, then send your photos to my email address.

Ordering:
After deciding on the subject and size of your animal portrait, complete the Order Form below and click submit for a price quote. Be sure to include eye color and any special markings or other instructions with your commission request.

Upon receipt of your photo(s), I will confirm your order and give you a completion date.

Your Photo(s):
I create pet portraits from your color photograph(s). Depending on the distance from my studio, I can photograph your pet for you.

When sending a photo for a pet portrait or animal portrait, please send a clear photo or selection of photos. The quality and clarity of your photo is vital. I prefer several, close-up, 4x6 or larger photos.

If you want an animal portrait with more than one pet or person and you do not have a good photograph of them together, you may send separate photos for use.

You may want to send more than one photo for me to get a true likeness e.g. one may show the correct color and another may be best for expression. Send the best photos you have.

Send your photo(s) as an email attachment. Upon receipt, I will contact you to discuss suitability and details about your pet portrait.

I will return all photos that you supply when I send your portrait.

Payment and Dispatch:
A $200.00 non-refundable deposit is required to contract for a portrait commission. Final payment is due upon preview and acceptance of your pet portrait online. You must pay for your animal portrait in full before dispatch; all quoted prices include tax, shipping, and insurance. An extra charge will apply for photo services requiring travel to your location.

All orders sent by UPS or USPS Special Delivery.

Guarantee:
To ensure your happiness, and that your pet portrait is a good likeness of your pet, I will keep you regularly informed of your animal portrait's progress. You may view your portrait before final acceptance and dispatch.

Giclee Prints:
You can buy giclee prints of your pet's portrait. I can send them with your portrait, or you can order them later.

Copyright:
I retain the copyright on all images I create.

Original Paintings and Giclee Prints

To purchase original animal portraits and giclee print pet portraits:

1. Click on category thumbnail of desired painting (A larger image will appear).

2. If a Giclee is available, there will be a pull down menu. Select either Original or Giclee. (The price will appear in the menu field).

3. Click on the "Add to cart" button.

4. To finalize your purchase, click on the "View Cart" button and follow the instructions.

I securely wrap all original animal portraits and giclee pet portraits and ship them via USPS or UPS.

Prices include sales tax, shipping, and insurance. If not satisfied with the animal portrait you have purchased, you may return it in the same manner as shipped to you, at your expense including full insurance, within seven business days. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned art, I will refund your payment, less my original shipping costs.

What is a Giclee?

"Giclee" (pronounced 'Gee Clay'), is a French verb meaning, "to squirt."

The Giclee printing process is an innovation in printmaking technology. The process involves spraying microscopic dots of archival quality ink onto acid free, 100% cotton rag paper.

Giclee printing rivals all other technologies in archival quality image duplication. It offers the highest apparent print resolution available today. Giclee printing captures every nuance of an original painting to turn out stunning, incredibly detailed, and accurate fine art prints.

The image permanence of Giclee prints is very stable. With proper care, Giclee prints give both fade and color shift resistance for at least 75 years. As such, Giclée prints enjoy worldwide acceptance for artists, museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries alike.
